Maldives Broadcasting Commission Assign a President and a Vice president |

In accordance with the broadcast act 16/2010 A commission was formed in the name of Maldives Broadcasting Commission. 7 members were appointed to the commission by the parliament on 04 April 2011.
Members of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission are as follows:
1. Mr Badhuru Naseer
2. Ms Aishath Hana
3. Mr Mohamed Shaheeb
4. Ms Mariyam Shauqy
5. Mr Ibrahim Ashraf
6. Ms Moomina Adam
7. Mr Abdulla Shujau
Among the members a vote was taken to assign a president and a vice president. The voting took place at Department of Information on 5th April 2011 appointing Mr. Badhuruhnaseer as president with 7 votes and Mr Mohamed Shahyb as vice president with 6 votes. The commission functions at Department of Information, 2nd and 3rd floor, Ameenee magu. |
