People’s Special Majlis pass the new constitution

In a People's Special Majlis meeting held today the members have completed and passed the new constitution of the Maldives. Out of the 94 MPs present in today's gathering 67 MPs voted for the new constitution while 5 members voted against the constitution. 15 MPs did not vote for either side.
